Triangle’s Code of Ethics, the formal description of our fraternity’s beliefs and values, requires us to “maintain a creditable scholastic record.” To this end, the Penn State Chapter of Triangle offers a one-time reward to brothers who have achieved a threshold cumulative GPA. Between 2008 and 2016, over $13,000 was awarded to deserving brothers by means of this scholarship opportunity.
To reward solid academic performance by providing a one-time reward to any brother who meets the GPA requirement. This scholarship may be claimed by any brother, but cannot be claimed more than once by any individual. Because the amount of the award increases with GPA, there is incentive to wait until one’s cumulative GPA increases over time.
