Becoming a Member.

Steps to Brotherhood

Triangle-Table

Join.

Rush occurs at the beginning of each semester. During rush, men who may be interested in joining Triangle meet the brothers and learn more about the fraternity at various recruitment events. While meeting members of Triangle, you will see if you get along with the brothers and Triangle’s way. Upon conclusion of the Rush period (as defined by IFC), a prospective member will receive a formal bid if the active brothers vote that they would like him to be a part of the Fraternity. The bid is an invitation to become a new member of the fraternity.

Experience.

If the prospective member chooses to accept his bid, he will become a pledge and begin learning about Triangle through the New Member Education Program. This process lasts 6 weeks and it is very beneficial for building brotherhood within the new member class and with the active members of the fraternity, while also teaching new members the history, values, and goals of Triangle.

Initiation.

At the end of the pledging process, if the pledge shows that he is worthy of brotherhood in Triangle by his words, actions, integrity, and values, he will be initiated as a brother of Triangle. This brotherhood is the fraternal bond that lasts for the rest of your life and connects you to thousands of other Triangle brothers throughout the world.
